Yellow Springs schools closed Tuesday, Feb. 18

The Yellow Springs Board of Education decided Tuesday morning to close village schools Tuesday, Feb. 18, due to icy conditions.
As of 8 a.m. Tuesday, the Antioch School and the Yellow Springs Children’s Center have not yet provided notification of their status, and are assumed to be running on normal schedules.
Check with school officials or teachers for changes in schedules to field trips and after school activities.
The NOAA reports that the day should be sunny, with highs today will be near 45°F, causing melt of the accumulated ice layer, and making sidewalks and parts of roads hazardous.
