The Quilt Barn Project

A local 4H youth club, dubbed the “Dream Catchers”, recently kicked off a summer session of creativity. The club’s members mounted a quilt design on a barn at the corner of Clifton road and Route 68. The Greene County Visitors’ Bureau organized the quilt project, in conjunction with all the local 4H clubs in the county.

The quilts will be part of an interactive county tour, with tourists able to visit each quilt on an established route. The children hand-painted the design, and will continue to place new ones up throughout July and August.

Thanks for letting us know what is going on! I saw another one just south of the village on the right. Very colorful and easily seen.
