Alan F. Baumgartner of Yellow Springs died unexpectedly on the weekend of Oct. 23 in his home. He was 60.

Sheila Ann Howell of Cincinnati, formerly of Yellow Springs, died Tuesday, Oct. 25. She was 54.

William Lee Harris was born on Aug. 16, 1916, in Yellow Springs.

Mary Ann Kahoe of Fairborn died Sunday, Oct. 30. She was 96.

As the second half of the district semi-finals came to a close, it seemed as if the Yellow Springs High School boys soccer team might not pull off a victory.

Alex Bieri is a Clifton Village Council member, and this election year he is running unopposed for the position of mayor.
