Village to pick up tree limbs next week

Due to recent storm damage, the Village will pick up reasonably sized tree limbs from the curb next week only, July 22–31. The Village will contract with a company with a large chipper to assist with proper disposal. Citizens may put out limbs and branches in front of their home but out of the right-of-way, cut up into 5-footlength sections. The Village asks residents not to block a sidewalk or roadway.

All limbs must be ready for pick-up by the morning of the 22, as the contractor has a self-designated route it will take through the village.

For limbs larger than 6 inches in diameter, please call Jason Hamby, 767-6633. Other yard waste will not be picked up (call Greene County Recycling and Yard Waste Facility, 2145 Greene Way Blvd., Xenia, OH 45385, for more information at 562-5925).
