Spring-side seats…

The garden party. Friends for brunch outside. Barbecue at dusk. Late night around the fire pit. As the flowers come out, so do the people, seeking noontime sun, evening crickets and starry summer nights. The chairs, tables, fire pits, cookers and barbecuers have been at the ready, waiting all winter through rain and cold, covered in tarps, last year’s foliage and deadwood and, until recently, snow.
