Registration is now open for the 2016 recreational baseball Minor and Major Leagues, and can be completed at http://www.ysbaseball.org. Girls and boys ages 7–11 are eligible to play in the coach-pitch Minor League, and boys and girls ages 10–14 are eligible for the player-pitch Major League. Both seasons will begin in early June, with Minor League games being held Saturday mornings and one weeknight, and Major League games two to three times per week. Both leagues play at Gaunt Park.
A skills assessment clinic for Major League players will be held Thursday, May 12, 7 p.m., at Gaunt Park. Registration must be completed to participate in the assessment clinics and will be available on-site. Coaches will meet following the clinics to draft and organize teams.
