‘Interrupted Motherhood’ coming to village

“Interrupted Motherhood,” a one-woman play in one act by Felicia Y. Chappelle, will be presented on Wednesday, June 13, 6:30 p.m., at Central Chapel AME Church.
Chappelle plays Vanessa, a Black American woman raising her four children on her own. A stage actress and playwright, Chappelle was selected to perform “Interrupted Motherhood” as part of Sinclair Community College’s 2018 Emerging Voices Series in April. Chappelle recently performed in a production of “The Drowning” at Central State University and will direct “One Sunday in Birmingham” at the sixth annual Columbus Black Theatre Festival.
Admission to “Interrupted Motherhood” is free, and donations will be accepted. This play is not recommended for children.
