After she learned that Young’s Dairy’s annual Easter egg hunt and the annual local hunt at Gaunt Park was canceled this year, villager KellyAnn Tracy stepped in to organize an egg hunt for the community.

The event was at Gaunt Park on Saturday, April 3, and included two egg hunts, for younger and older children, Peter Cottontail, treat bags for adults, live music and more.

Tracy reported that the event was “pure joy,” with 120 children racing across the fields to gather eggs filled with candy. “We literally pulled this together in weeks,” Tracy said. “Truly it took a village and a good time was had by all.”
