Dogs paddling

On Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 5, packs of enthusiastic pooches and their people descended on the Gaunt Park Pool to take one final dip before the swimming season officially ended and the pool closed until next year. Over 20 hounds of all shapes and sizes were given permission to splash around in Greene County’s only public pool for a couple hours into the evening. While some pups sprang into the pool with gusto, while were just happy to kick back and lounge by the pool: shown above in zen-like repose, is Oden the bulldog.
