The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission, or MVRPC, is in the early phases of developing a Safe Streets for All Comprehensive Safety Action Plan.

On Monday, Aug. 18, the Miami Township Trustees held a brief meeting, during which trustees approved funding upgrades to defibrillators installed by Miami Township Fire-Rescue at the YS Senior Center and Tom’s Market.

On Wednesday, Aug. 13, the Greene County Board of Elections certified the following issues and candidate petitions for the upcoming Nov. 4 general election.

Paul R. Cooper died peacefully on July 6, 2025, at the age of 102 years. He lived most of his long life in the village of Yellow Springs.

Pegene “Peggy” W. McPhaden, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2025.
