Jessica Rilene Hitchcock died peacefully on Friday, Sept. 25. She was 48 years old and spent most of her life in and around Yellow Springs.

John Kenneth Krapf Jr., 71, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020.

The Board of Directors of the Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce announced last week that Executive Director Karen Wintrow will leave her position at the Chamber. Her last day in the position will be Friday, Oct. 23.

On Tuesday, Sept. 29, the Village of Yellow Springs announced that it would not set an official Beggars Night date for the village due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
