Yellow Springs Home, Inc. announced that the Ohio Housing Finance Agency has reserved approximately $1.5 million to fund a 32-unit senior rental housing unit slated to be built on 1.8 acres along Marshall and Herman streets.

The John Bryan Community Center has been designated as a 24-hour emergency cooling center; Greene County Public Libraries are also designated as cooling centers during hours of operation.

On Tuesday, Aug. 22, Antioch College announced in a press release that it will list some of its land and buildings for lease or sale.

Charles “Chuck” Garrety, 71, of Yellow Springs, Ohio, passed away peacefully Aug. 17, 2023, at Springfield Regional Medical Center, after his 12-year battle with kidney disease.

Charles Kabenji, age 77, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully Thursday, Aug. 10, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his family.
