Antioch reunion finds ties with past, future

Michael Higginbotham, author of “Ghosts of Jim Crow: Ending Racism in Post-Racial America,” is the inaugural speaker in a new seminar series named in honor of famed civil rights advocate and federal judge A. Leon Higginbotham Jr., a 1949 graduate of Antioch College and also Michael Higginbotham’s father’s first cousin.

Villager Earl "Petey" Hull died July 1, 2024; he was 83. Visitaiton will be held Friday, July 19, 10 a.m., with services at 11 a.m., at Central Chapel, AME, 411 S. High St. Interment will be in the Hull Family plot at Tar Box Cemetery in Wilberforce. A full obituary will appear in an upcoming issue of the News.
