    Formed in the wake of last summer’s tragic shooting event, the Yellow Springs affiliate of the National Association of Mental Illness, or NAMI, runs support groups for those with mental illness and their family members and friends.

  • ‘Japanese Festivals: Cooking and Culture’ rescheduled

    “Japanese Festivals: Cooking and Culture,” originally scheduled for Friday, July 18, at the library, has been rescheduled due to illness. It will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 6:30–8 p.m. Registration opens Aug. 24.

  • Cyclists, soccer tournament brings heavy traffic to village

    Yellow Springs will be the hub of several major events this weekend, giving rise to more than the usual amount of foot and automobile traffic and a road closure Saturday.

    A bus from the National Alliance on Mental Illness will be in Yellow Springs Tuesday, July 22, to help educate villagers on mental illness.

    Ertel Publishing’s Vintage Truck Magazine will host its 13th annual Vintage Truck Show which is a great family-friendly event! Featuring colorful and restored trucks from the early 1900s through modern times.

  • Wellness Center launches fundraiser

    Last week, Antioch launched $1 million community fundraising campaign to cover some of the $7.8 million cost of renovating its 44,000-square-foot Wellness Center.

    The Odd Fellows puts on a wonderful display at Gaunt Park Friday night. The community band played as people from all over the area gathered for hotdogs, fellowship and fireworks!
