The Tecumseh Land Trust will host tours of modern farming operations on Sunday with area farmers Jim Clem and Jim Timmons. Here Miami Towhship farmer Craig Corry inspected his soybean crop earlier this month.

TLT hosts two farm tours

At 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 19, at 2 p.m., the Tecumseh Land Trust will host a tour of two modern farming operations — one grows corn and soybeans and the other raises dairy cattle.

The farmers, Jim Clem and Jim Timmons, will provide a tour of their farm, talk about their operation and answer questions about what it takes to maintain an agricultural operation. The tour begins at 4835 Springfield-Xenia Road, north of Young’s Jersey Dairy ad south of Collier Road.
