Q & A for Iden Crockett

Hello. My name is Iden (she/her) and I am transgendered.

This is a space dedicated to answering your questions about what that means. I am only one trans person. I only have my own experience to speak from but I am willing to share that experience.

This is your chance to ask anything you have been curious or confused about regarding the transgender and non-binary community. I will answer all questions — provided they are asked respectfully — in my blog "My Name is Iden," preserving the anonymity of the asker, if preferred.

This is an experiment in vulnerability. I believe strongly that being an open and honest ambassador is the best way to dispel myths, fears, and misunderstandings. Thank you for participating. May we all move forward together to a future built on respect and understanding.
