Beth Holyoke and Kaethi Seidl were honored with this fall’s Village Inspiration and Design Award, or VIDA, on Saturday. Collaborators since 2005, Holyoke and Seidl have been a force for public art in Yellow Springs, creating numerous mosiac installations, including artful trashcans and benches downtown and on the bike path, as well as the iconic “Springs” sign at the village’s west entrance.

Commission Chair Fleming called the duo’s artwork “deposits of honey scattered around the village that nourish us.”
