Everything on wheels

The Antioch School put the “fun” back in fundraiser last Sunday with their Everything on Wheels event. Students, either alone or accompanied by parents, rode down the bike path on bicycles (or any other wheeled vehicle). Friends and families pledged money for the event.
The children’s involvement is a critical part of the fundraiser, according to Antioch School manager MJ Richlen this week. Antioch School students, with the help of their parents, secured pledges and then rode their bikes on Sunday, with the youngest students riding trikes on the school’s cycle circle as the older kids rode their bikes on the bikepath.
The pledge money went towards raising funds for the Antioch Scholarship Fund. About 25% of children who attend the tuition-based school depend on scholarships. While the school had not held an Anything on Wheels fundraiser for the past six years, this year two parents, Pat White and Regan Parker, revived the annual fundraiser.
