A Yellow Springs life celebration for Lynn Russell Hickerson will be held at the “Russell Home,” now the Hasek residence, located at 1540 President Street, on Saturday, Sept. 3, 5:30–7:30 p.m. The gathering will feature a soup potluck, and those attending should bring a favorite soup to share and a chair. Drinks will be supplied and music and slides will be shared. At 7 p.m., the gathered group will walk to the Antioch School’s Landes Grove, located just off the Allen Street path to the school, for more memories, stories and a planting of spring bulbs and ashes. The celebration will be informal and all-welcoming, like Lynn.
