Mills Lawn School playground mulch spreading day

Help spread mulch on the Mills Lawn playground this Saturday, April 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A large volunteer effort is needed to help ensure the MLS playground and “public park” is well maintained.
Mills Lawn is among the most well-used green spaces in Yellow Springs, serving not just the school, but community members, families, and visitors alike. A community effort is needed to spread 100 yards of mulch quickly and effectively. Bring rakes, shovels, and wheelbarrows to help in any way you can.
Help celebrate the The-Day-Before-Earth-Day through community service and help keep the children of Yellow Springs safely engaged in outdoor play.
