College exhibit to end with performances

On Friday, Feb. 14, Antioch College will bring its current Herndon Gallery exhibit to a close with several performances. The exhibit, “Currencies,” has for the past two months presented the work of several arts and performance faculty.

Beginning at 7 p.m., the event will include dance performances by former Antioch College faculty member Jill Becker and Melissa Heston and a performance poem, “One Don’t Operate Without the Other,” by Louise Smith. Faculty member Gabrielle Civil will perform “and then…,” a piece that features Nicolas Daily, with video by Cristian Perez Lopez. The piece carries a parental advisory due to its explicit content.

The event is free and open to the public.
