A Yellow Springs Fourth of July picture book

Saturday’s 4th of July festivities benefited from beautiful summer weather. In the afternoon hundreds lined Xenia Avenue for the annual small-town parade and many more covered the ground at Gaunt Park for the evening’s live music and fireworks. Whizzing through the parade downtown, Antioch School student Zay Crawford (front) and alumnus Max Mullin balanced their unicycles (one a giraffe!) between floats, candy throwers and water sprayers.
