Emergency Reading of Ordinance 2016-25
• Appropriating Certain Real Property Interests Owned by Jeffrey Kingsley and Melody Kingsley for the Safe Routes to School Project in the Village of Yellow Springs, Ohio and Declaring an Emergency.
This ordinance was read as an emergency on 10-17-16 and passed into law thereon. The ordinance gives the Village access to a portion of the referenced property for the purpose of installing a portion of a continuous sidewalk as a part of the Village’s Safe Routes to Schools project. The ordinance is needed because the property is currently in foreclosure, making obtaining permission for access a legal matter and the project is being delayed until the needed temporary construction easement is obtained.
Karen Wintrow, President of Council
