Andrew Strolger

At age 66, Andrew Strolger passed in North Huntington, Pa., on April 22, 2019. Andy was a frequent visitor and occasional resident of Yellow Springs, and a life-long kindred spirit with the community.
He was born on January 26, 1953, in Washington, D.C., and was preceded in death by his mother and father, Carrie and Virgil Strolger; birth mother, Lucille Spears; and his twin brother, Anthony Strolger.
Andy will be fondly remembered by his companion, Deb Trevellini; his sons, Louis-Gregory and Shahkar (and wife Jackie) Strolger; his daughters, Khadijih and Corinne Strolger; his grandchildren, Brandy Morgan, Louis A. Strolger, Matthew Strolger, Camryn Strolger, Sarah Strolger, Nellie Strolger, Miles Strolger, Praisha Morgan; and Kymani Needham; his great-grandchildren, Andrew, Karmyn, and Isabella D’Allessandris; and his first wife, Marcia C. Hudson. He will be equally missed by the innumerable friends he met along his journey.
A heartfelt thanks to Roi Qualls and Susan Tower for their assistance in providing an interment in accordance with Bahá’í traditions. Andy was laid to rest in Verona, Pa. on April 24, 2019.
