Power outage planned in Yellow Springs

The Village of Yellow Springs announced on Nov. 11 that there will be a planned power outage for the entire Village from 11 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12, to 3 a.m. on Friday Nov., 13.
The power outage is necessary in order to allow Dayton Power & Light to make an emergency repair to a power line.
Villagers who rely on electric-powered medical equipment or will otherwise need shelter can can assemble in the Bryan Center gym for the duration of the outage. For more information, call the YS Police Department dispatch line at 937-767-7206.
