Jonas Bahn: 2021 Recipient of the Lauren Heaton Scholarship

The Yellow Springs News congratulates Jonas Bahn as the first recipient of the Lauren Heaton Scholarship for Aspiring Journalists. Bahn is a 2021 Yellow Springs High School graduate and in the fall will be attending Western University in London, Ontario. He was accepted into the Advanced Studies in the Arts & Humanities program with plans to study journalism.
The scholarship fund was set up in memory of Lauren Heaton, a YSHS grad and longtime Yellow Springs News reporter who died in 2019. The scholarship fund is based at the Yellow Springs Community Foundation. Donations can be made by visiting http://bit.ly/YSCF-LHSF.
