Marilyn (Kelley) Dowdell, of Yellow Springs, passed away peacefully at Miami Valley Hospital on Dec. 31. She was 75.

The Yellow Springs Board of Education has placed village schools on a two-hour delay for Wednesday, Jan. 29 due to the continuing extreme cold.

John A. Eastman, 67, collapsed and died in his home on Sunday, Dec. 28.
