    At the age of 13, Jeff (Pan) Reich started rock climbing. Nearly 50 years later, Reich climbs rock faces with the seemingly effortless dancing meditative flow of an experienced climber.

    For the third time, comedian and local resident Dave Chappelle threw a star-studded barn party in the village, a night of copious covers, musical improvisation, surprise guest stars and hot and sweaty dancing.

  • Gaunt Park pool gets upgrades

    Several hundred villagers and out-of-towners converged on the Gaunt Park pool on Monday, a sweltering hot Memorial Day. The pool was recently upgraded with $80,000 worth of repairs, according to Village Public Works Director Johnnie Burns.     Last week about 60 villagers came out for the unveiling of the Antioch College Village pilot project — a planned pocket neighborhood of small homes on the north side of East North College Street.
