Yellow Springs Schools are closed today, Wednesday, Feb. 20, due to snow and ice.
Village schools, the Antioch School, the Community Children’s Center and Friends Preschool will all be closed on Thursday, Jan. 30, due to continuing extreme low temperatures.
The Yellow Springs Board of Education decided this morning to close village schools for Monday, Jan. 24, due to slick road conditions.
The YSCO, under the direction of James Johnston, will present Mahler’s Symphony No. 1, “Titan” Saturday, Nov. 17, at 7:30 p.m., at Antioch College’s Foundry Theater.
Some Yellow Springs residents did not receive papers on Thursday, Jan. 25.
The Yellow Springs Strings will present its annual spring concert tonight, May 9, 7 p.m., in the Senior Center great room.
The Yellow Springs Historical Society will host a tour of the village’s Octagon House, Sunday, May 7, 1–5 p.m.
The YS Chamber Orchestra and Community Chorus will present the final concert in this spring’s Langston Hughes retrospective. “Harlem Renaissance Revisited,” a program of music and poetry, will be performed Sunday, May 7, 7:30 p.m., at the Foundry Theater.
