Friends to perform benefit concert

Friends Music Camp will perform its 29th annual benefit concert in support of Glen Helen this weekend. The performance takes place this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the Mills Lawn auditorium. Tickets are on sale now at the Nature Shop for $10 (adults), $5 (children under 12.) Tickets will also be available at the door.

Friends Music Camp is a four-week summer camp for 10- to 18-year olds and is held each year at Olney Friends School, a Quaker boarding school in Barnesville. According to co-director and camp co-founder Peg Champney, the camp emphasizes high quality musical instruction, builds community and encourages personal responsibility.
