That was a lot of people. We didn’t march so much as mark our cause…the resurgence of a movement.
My daughter and I traveled to DC on Saturday to join the massive crowds that took over the National Mall the day after the new administration’s inauguration. More than disappointed and dismayed, we gathered in a show of resistance to Friday’s installation. It is never good to lose an election but sting of loss…especially an unexpected loss…does have a way of infusing activism.
