The 2017 Cello Springs Festival continued Monday evening with an informal cello technique forum at the Rockford Chapel social room, with participating cellists of abilities ranging from beginner to world-class. Upcoming events include a performance of all six suites for unaccompanied cello by J. S. Bach on Thursday evening, Jan. 12, at 5 p.m. in the Herndon Gallery; a jam session at the Emporium on Friday, Jan. 13, at 2 p.m.; and a closing concert at Antioch College’s Foundry Theater, Saturday, Jan. 14, at 7:30 p.m.
