Annual Solstice Poetry Reading to benefit Tecumseh Land Trust, Glen Helen
The event, co-sponsored by Tecumseh Land Trust, Glen Helen and Tesseract Books, will take place Dec. 5, 7–9 p.m., in the Glen’s Vernet Ecological Center at 405 Corry St. Twelve local poets will read original works, followed by a wine and cheese reception and an open mic session.

Annual Winter Solstice Poetry Reading to return
Slated for Friday, Dec. 6, in Glen Helen’s Vernet Ecological Center, the 13th annual Solstice Poetry Reading will feature 10 area poets, each reading original works that meditate on stillness. Co-sponsored by Tecumseh Land Trust and Glen Helen, the event will also include an open mic, a wine reception and sales of publications from the featured poets.

Local poets published in anthology
The Glen Helen Association and Tecumseh Land Trust recently released “Sun and Shadow, Wood and Stone,” an anthology of poems by 61 local and regional wordsmiths who’ve read at the annual Solstice Poetry Reading over the past decade.
