Almost $13 per resident. That’s how much Yellow Springs nonprofits were awarded from the Ohio Arts Council last month.
YSKP’s 21st original musical, “The Farm,” is inspired by the events of the Whitehall Farm auction and George Orwell’s “Animal Farm.” The play asks the question — can the wild animals, farm animals and human kids work together to save their beloved farm from developers?
Three local artists recently received Individual Excellence Awards from the Ohio Arts Council (OAC). The awards are meant to “recognize creativity and imagination that exemplifies the highest level of achievement in a particular discipline and advances the art form.”
