Following a bond hearing for former Yellow Springs doctor Donald Gronbeck on Thursday, Nov. 17, Greene County Common Pleas Judge Michael Buckwalter set Gronbeck’s bond at $1 million, with 10% down, or $100,000, for release.
Following a secret indictment and arrest, Donald Gronbeck pleaded “not guilty” to 50 counts of sex crimes at an arraignment hearing on Thursday, Oct. 27, at the Greene County Common Pleas Court in Xenia.
At 11:55 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, former Yellow Springs Primary Care doctor Donald Gronbeck was arrested by members of the Greene County Sheriff’s office, according to Greene County Jail booking records.
An ongoing investigation of Gronbeck, led by the Ohio Attorney General’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, is related to allegations of sexual misconduct.
The State Medical Board of Ohio suspended the medical license of Dr.Donald Gronbeck, of Yellow Springs Primary Care, on Wednesday, Jan. 19. Investigators arrived Thursday, Jan. 20, at his Dayton Street medical office to execute a search warrant.
In the effort to serve more patients from in and around the village, a local medical office has added a new doctor.
