  • Bulldog Sports Round-up

    Competing in blustery, rain-swept conditions, the Bulldogs boys track team put forth a solid effort at the London tri-meet on Tuesday, April 21, to come in second with 59 points. London won the meet with 93 points, and Fairbanks took third with 15.5.

  • Soccer clinic May 2

    This Saturday, May 2, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Gaunt Park in Yellow Springs, the Challenger Sports British Soccer organization will offer a free soccer clinic and a chance for a free half-day, week-long summer camp in Yellow Springs. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $1 each at the Saturday clinic.

  • Youth basketball tourney planned

    The Yellow Springs girls basketball program is sponsoring a 3on3 tournament for boys and girls on Street Fair day, June 13, at the Bryan Community Center outdoor courts.

  • McKinney girls win home meet

    McKinney Middle School hosted an invitational track meet on Thursday, April 16, and came away victorious on the girls’ side, while the boys team finished fifth out of nine schools.

  • Seadogs meeting, sign up

    The Seadogs will hold their final organizational meeting before the swim season starts at the Yellow Springs Community Library, Tuesday, May 5, at 7 p.m. Registration for the swim team will be held Monday, June 1, between 6 and 7:30 p.m., at the Yellow Springs High School cafeteria.

  • Major league ball tryouts Saturday

    Local youth interested in playing in the Yellow Springs Youth Baseball Major League this coming summer are encouraged to attend a skills evaluation and tryout session this Saturday, April 25. The session will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on the Major League field at Gaunt Park.

  • 3on3 youth bball tourney planned

    The Yellow Springs girls summer 3on3 program is sponsoring a 3on3 tournament for boys and girls on Street Fair day, June 13, at the Bryan Community Center outdoor courts.

  • Challenger Soccer to return to village

    Yellow Springs Soccer, Inc., a non-profit organization which promotes the enhancement of soccer in the Yellow Springs community, will host the third annual Challenger Sports British Soccer Camp this summer.

  • Youth Baseball registration opens

    Registration is now open for the 2009 Yellow Springs youth baseball program. Boys and girls who have turned age six by Jan. 1 through those that have not turned 12 by June 1 are eligible for the Minor League.
