  • 3on3 youth bball tourney planned

    The Yellow Springs girls summer 3on3 program is sponsoring a 3on3 tournament for boys and girls on Street Fair day, June 13, at the Bryan Community Center outdoor courts.

  • Challenger Soccer to return to village

    Yellow Springs Soccer, Inc., a non-profit organization which promotes the enhancement of soccer in the Yellow Springs community, will host the third annual Challenger Sports British Soccer Camp this summer.

  • Youth Baseball registration opens

    Registration is now open for the 2009 Yellow Springs youth baseball program. Boys and girls who have turned age six by Jan. 1 through those that have not turned 12 by June 1 are eligible for the Minor League.

  • Bulldog Sports Round-up

    The Yellow Springs High School distance runners dominated the Impson Cedarville Invitational on Saturday, April 11, by capturing first place in four events to help the team win 66 points overall for a fifth place finish.

  • Youth recreational spring soccer leagues to begin

    The spring season of Yellow Springs Youth Recreational Soccer will resume the week ending Saturday, April 11. Leagues will be organized as follows: Copper Cup (ages preschool–kindergarten), Bronze Cup (first–third grades), and Silver Cup (fourth and fifth grades), which will all play Saturday mornings at Gaunt Park.

  • Seadogs seek coaches, assistants for new season

    The Yellow Springs Seadogs are gearing up for another swimming season. Coaches and assistants are currently being sought for paid and volunteer positions. A Webmaster is also needed to set up a Seadog Web site.

  • Youth baseball seeking coaches

    Volunteers are needed for the upcoming Yellow Springs youth baseball season. Several coaches are needed for Minor League teams (ages 6–11), as well as a general coordinator for the Minor League.

  • Baseball season kicks off

    The Yellow Springs High School baseball season kicked off in perfect baseball weather last week with three home games. Opening day was Monday against cross-county rival Cedarville. An extended basketball season kept the Bulldogs from opportunities to practice and they started the season a bit rusty.

  • Bulldog Sports Round-up

    Yellow Springs High School finished fifth at the annual Versailles Track & Field Boys Invitational on Saturday, April 4. The Bulldogs scored 66 points. Minster won with 185.
