Climate change hike Saturday at the Glen

Wright State University geologist Allen Hunt and biologist Don Cippollini will lead a hike to identify hydrologic changes associated with climate, land use and human impact and identify plant communities and microclimatic variability on Saturday, April 6, at Glen Helen. The hike will depart from the Trailside Museum at 11 a.m.

On the night before the hike, Friday, April 5, at 7 p.m. at the Glen Helen Auditorium, Dr. Hunt will present a lecture on climate change, charting climate change since the Pleistocene, with discussion focused on the local landscape and potential human impacts on climate relevant to the Glen and Clifton Gorge..
