    Raven didn’t speak much about being sick. Instead, she brought my husband, a new friend, into her home studio. Brought out her pulps, her deckles, her tubs of finished papers — some textured, some translucent, some delicately veined like the inside of a wrist.

  • Cello Springs Fest to return; volunteers, participants sought

    The Cello Springs Festival, first held in January 2017, will return in January 2018. Participants and volunteers are being sought.

    The Cello Springs Festival will return to Yellow Springs in 2018, Jan. 3–13, during which time cello music will be performed in both public spaces and homes in the village. Volunteers, participants and donations for the festival’s events are being sought.

  • 2017 #YSGivingTuesday donations on track to top last year

    The numbers are still coming in, but with 19 of 24 participating local nonprofit groups reporting their 2017 #YSGivingTuesday results, the money raised during the 24-hour charitable event Nov. 28 is on track to top last year’s $75,000 mark.
