    What do you want Yellow Springs to look like in 2035? Villagers can help shape the future of town by contributing to the comprehensive land use plan now being developed by the Village of Yellow Springs.

  • Local chapter of Citizens for Climate Lobby forming

    Those interested in forming a Yellow Springs chapter of Citizens for Climate Lobby, or CCL, are invited to meet on Saturday, Jan. 25, 12:30–2 p.m. in the auditorium of the Vernet Ecological Center, 405 Corry Street.

  • YS Schools Facilities Task Force sets second community meeting

    The Yellow Springs Schools Facilities Task Force has set a second community meeting to present the results of its nine-month exploration into the needs of the district’s school buildings and to gather feedback on its findings.

  • 10-digit dialing instituted soon

    Village land line service will be interrupted on Wednesday, May 31.

    Beginning Saturday, Feb. 8, all calls within the 937 area code will have to be placed using the 10-digit or 11-digit telephone number.

    The shelves at Benzer Pharmacy, formerly Town Drug, are being restocked, and medication is reportedly coming in daily, after dwindling merchandise and delays in drug orders.

  • “Best of Dayton” — a bevy of local nominations

    More than 30 Yellow Springs businesses and Dayton-area businesses owned by YS residents have been nominated for Dayton.com’s “Best of Dayton” awards. UPDATE: The deadline to vote in the “Best of Dayton” contest has been extended to Friday, Feb. 7.
