On Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 5, before the season shut down, Gaunt Park Pool was host to dozens of dogs for one final dip.

Amid the sunny skies and clement weather of late summer, area youngsters and their families were treated with the opportunity to get up close and personal with fleets of emergency and service vehicles at the Touch-a-Truck event on Friday, Aug. 26.

At Village Council’s regular meeting on Monday, Aug. 15, Council members unanimously approved a use policy for the village’s municipal broadband utility services. The policy enshrines the privacy of the village residents who opt into the new Wi-Fi service.

The sketch comedy production, “E&A’s Big Dumb Show,” is open to audiences at the YS Arts Council building on Friday, Aug. 12, at 8 p.m., twice on Saturday, Aug. 13, at 2 and 8 p.m., and again the following weekend, on Friday, Aug. 26, at 8 p.m., and finally on Saturday, Aug. 27, at both 2 and 8 p.m.

For the first time in two years, Antioch College alumni have returned to campus en masse to celebrate the college’s annual reunion this weekend.

After a two-year absence, Yellow Springs Street Fair is officially set to return this fall, on Saturday, Oct. 8.This will be the first Street Fair since fall 2019. The last five scheduled dates of the semiannual fair were canceled due to significant transmission rates of COVID-19 in the region and state.
