Chamber Music in Yellow Springs will welcome the Canone Quartet and Trio Ondata as this year’s finalists in its 38th Annual Competition for Emerging Ensembles, 4 p.m. April 30, at First Presbyterian Church of Yellow Springs.

At the Greene County Invitational, senior Malcolm Blunt ran to a first-place finish in the 200 meters with a personal- and season-best time of 22.71. He complemented this effort with a runner-up finish in the long jump, leaping 19´10˝.
