On Saturday, Jan. 27, over 100 pro-Palestinian protestors took to the streets in downtown Yellow Springs and called for an end to Israeli military action in Gaza. 

The Yellow Springs Theater Company is accepting script submissions for the 2024 annual Ten-Minute Play Festival, featuring a selection of plays no longer than 10 minutes.

Mildred Kirby Nickels was born Nov. 19, 1930, in Monroe, Michigan, to Bertrand and Mildred Nickels.

Thomas J. Quinn, of Kettering, Ohio, died on Jan. 17, 2024, after a brief illness. He was 81.

The International Peace Museum in downtown Dayton is participating in a global initiative addressing the documented escalation in hate crimes and violence in recent years.

The McKinney Bulldogs girls team weathered “another tough game” Thursday, Jan. 18, according to Coach Rena Balzer this week, falling to Middletown Christian, 7–42, at home.

The Yellow Springs High School boys varsity basketball team prevailed against Jefferson High on Tuesday, Jan. 9, winning 47–44 away.
