  • Baker inducted into Women’s Hall of Fame — Publisher, music-lover, volunteer

    Jane Baker is being inducted into the Greene County Women’s Hall of Fame, with a reception for its 2018 honorees slated this month.     Chamber Music in Yellow Springs has announced its 35th season, bringing a variety of ensembles — “Old Friends, New Friends” — to audiences in the Miami Valley.

    On Sunday, March 25, Chamber Music in Yellow Springs will bring to the area one of the world’s leading guitar ensembles, the Brazilian Guitar Quartet. The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church. Miami Valley’s own Jim McCutcheon will give a preconcert lecture at 6:45 p.m.

    On Sunday, Oct. 29, Chamber Music in Yellow Springs will present the second of this season’s “Quartet of Quartets” with Project Fusion, a young saxophone quartet.
