  • Sister Trillium makes moves

    Sister Trillium, which previously operated out of the YS Farmers Market, will roll out its one-of-a-kind creative reuse center model — collecting unused art and craft supplies and selling them at a discounted rate — in a new-to-them brick-and-mortar space.

  • ‘Sister Trillium’ group to recycle art supplies

    Sister Trillium, a recently formed nonprofit started by local creators Zoe Bryant, Allison Paul and Marie Hertzler, seeks to extend the life of art supplies through collecting unused supplies and selling them at a discounted rate at the Yellow Springs Farmers’ Market.

  • Holiday Art Jumble returns

    The Yellow Springs Arts Council is once again hosting their annual event which features handmade fine art, crafts, seasonal items and plenty of surprises. It’s official — the Art Jumble is here, so let the holiday season begin!

  • Needlework retreat comes to Yellow Springs

    “From Our Hands and Hearts,” an annual creative retreat for needlework artists, is coming to Yellow Springs April 24–27. Organizers are Lori Ann Corelis, a folk artist who sews rabbits, teddy bears and other collectibles, and Rebekah Smith, a wool appliqué artist. The public is invited to a show and sale on the last day of the retreat, April 27, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Mills Park Hotel. (Submitted photos)

    Next Monday, April 24, needlework artists from across Ohio and states such as California, New York and Rhode Island will take up residence in the Mills Park Hotel for four days, and they’ll stitch, and stitch some more.
