The YSHS and McKinney spring musical, “Disney’s High School Musical, On Stage!” will be performed Friday–Sunday, March 9–11 and 16–18, at Mills Lawn.

The World House Choir, an inclusive, multicultural, mixed-voice community choir based in Yellow Springs, is welcoming new members as the group prepares for its next set of performances, including events in Yellow Springs, Dayton and Cincinnati.
This year’s 10-Minute Play Festival, produced by Yellow Springs Theater Company, are largely written, acted, directed and produced by local residents, making the festival a showcase of homegrown talent.
The Dayton Performing Arts Alliance, or DPAA, announced EDGE, a performing arts series filled with “unconventional performances in unconventional places,” with all concerts being free and open to the public.
The Cello Springs Festival is seeking visual artists, poets and dancers who would like to collaborate for a concert at Glen Helen’s Vernet Auditorium to be held on Wednesday, Jan. 10 at 7:30 p.m.
The Cello Springs Festival will return to Yellow Springs in 2018, Jan. 3–13, during which time cello music will be performed in both public spaces and homes in the village. Volunteers, participants and donations for the festival’s events are being sought.
This weekend and next, the McKinney and YSHS theater departments will present the first Bulldog Theater Festival.
“Fefu and Her Friends” production opens this weekend at First Presbyterian Church with performances at 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays, Sept. 28–30 and Oct. 5–7. Tickets are $10 at the door.
The McKinney and YSHS theater departments will expand their offerings this fall with the first Bulldog Theater Festival, which will bring two theatrical performances to local audiences.
