Despite a smaller crowd and rainy skies, the AACW Blues, Jazz, and Gospel Fest went ahead this past weekend. There were workshops during the day and performances and food throughout the evening. The rain and cold cut the numbers of attendees down but some fans stuck it out for what proved to be solid musical performances and a continuation of an important tradition in Yellow Springs.

A blues singer from Uruguay will make her first appearance at this year’s AACW Blues, Jazz and Gospel Fest, to take place Aug. 22 through 25 at the Antioch College amphitheatre.
