Choir forms to celebrate Coretta Scott King’s birthday

The World House Choir is currently forming, and will perform as part of the celebration of Coretta Scott King’s birthday on Saturday, April 27, to be held at Antioch College. Those interested in joining a diverse group of singers in celebration and recognition of the prestigious Antioch alumna are invited to attend rehearsals beginning Tuesday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. at the Coretta Scott King Center. Rehearsals will continue on Feb. 19, March 5 and 19 and April 2, 9, 16 and 23.
The choir will perform under the direction of Catherine Roma, founder and director of Cincinnati-based women’s choir, MUSE. All interested adults are invited to join; high schoolers in grades 11 and 12 are also welcome.Those who join the group are required to attend at least six of the eight rehearsals, and must attend the first and last rehearsals.
