Kinder Concert
- Published: May 19, 2011
The bright t-shirts of the Mills Lawn School Kindergartners were only matched by the shining faces and sparkling songs Wednesday night. The program, “Dig A Little Deeper,” was a musical encapsulation of this year’s work by the children, who learned everything from counting to colors to things about faraway places.
Singing was accompanied by a five-piece band including Principal Housh on drums, Third Grade teacher Jeff May on electric guitar, former superintendent Tim McLinden on bass, Brian Walker on piano, and the inimitable Becky Brunsman on guitar, leading the ensemble. Alan Brunsman headed up the sound.
Special thanks go out to Cheryl Ayrsman, Cassandra Clay, Chelle Pallasis, Jennifer Berman, Craig Conrad.
A videotape of the concert will be available; contact Mrs. Brunsman or Mrs. Turner-Smith.
