Village Council proposes new busking rules
On Monday, Oct. 17, Village Council members continued their ongoing examination of the impacts of busking with a first reading of an ordinance that aims to regulate the volume, frequency, location and permissibility of impromptu downtown street performances.

Village Council, school board, Township hold joint meeting

YS Schools receive state ratings
The district’s highest average proficiencies across all tested subjects were social studies, English language arts and science. The lowest-scoring subject in achievement was math, which averaged 54% across grades three through eight and high school algebra and geometry.

The Bulldogs’ conference record stands at 7–1 at the end of the regular season, making Yellow Springs the conference champ this year. The Bulldogs share the victory with Dayton Christian, whose conference record is also 7–1.
